PIA attended the GNK Foundation Gala dinner at Le Montage on Saturday night 30^th June. PIA is proud to be a long term cooperate sponsor and supporter of the Foundation.

The George Naim Khattar Foundation is a not for profit organisation whose mission is to support local community projects and bring positive change into people’s lives. This year the Gala proudly supported Youngcare, Youngcare recognises that many young Australians with high care needs are being left behind; living in institutionalized housing like aged care and hospital rooms.  It is an issue that spans the corners of the country and yet is so close to home. 28,000 young people are seeking a suitable place to call “home”. Currently, there are 12,000 young people being left behind in inappropriate housing simply because there is nowhere else for them to go.

The gala included a performance by ARIA award nominee Ricky-Lee and heart-warming first-hand account of the life-changing power of living with independence and dignity by a Youngcare grant recipient and advocate for the cause.

The event was hosted by Karl Stefanovic and Sylvia Jefferys who are Australia s most admired television presenters and passionate ambassadors for Youngcare.

The sold-out black tie event brought together business and community leaders around Sydney to raise funds for a much needed cause.
